Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken is one of the most popular dishes of Indian cuisine. It is characterized by a golden color and a creamy texture that make the perfect combination!

This dish seems a little complicated but with this butter chicken recipe, you'll love how easy it is to prepare at home. 

Ingredients: 
Chicken preparation:
  • 300 gms Chicken Breast
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil

Gravy:
  • 500 gms tomatoes
  • 100 gms cut onions
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 500 cashew
  • 4 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp sun-dried fenugreek
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala (Spices combination)
  • 2 tbsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp cream
  • Salt to taste
Instructions:
  1. Use the ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, and salt to marinate the chicken breast. The marinating time is 15-20 mins. (If you want a stronger flavor, leave the chicken marinating for a longer period).
  2. Heat a pan and add a little oil. Then fries the marinated chicken in pieces. Once, it is ready, keep it in a separated bowl.
  3.  In the same pan (without washing) add oil, onion, and a spoon of butter. When the onions are ready, add the tomatoes and the cashew nuts.
  4. In the same mix, add water, ginger garlic paste, salt, sugar, garam masala powder, and chili powder. Cook it for 15-20 mins, constantly stirring. 
  5. Put the mix in a blender and churn it into a puree.
  6. Put it back into the same pan, but make sure that the mix is homogeneous.
  7. Add some butter and cream to the mix, and let it simmer for 5-7 mins.
